It's heart smart lead by certified Spinning instructors. It high energy, cycling-inspired rides that combine sound training principles, inspirational music and a unique mind/body philosophy. Whether you're new to the Spinning program or have been riding for years, the Spinning program provides all the tools you need to achieve your health and fitness goals. Bring your water and a towel, you'll need them both.
Rip reshapes your body, your strength routine, and your thought process. Work head-to-toe using simple equipment – a weighted bar, dumbbells, and a step, tackling various speeds, positions, and rhythms. Professional coaches lead the way through major and minor muscle groups, educating with the “why” behind the “how".
BARRE is a hybrid workout class - combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Most classes incorporate a ballet barre and use classic dance moves such as plies, alongside static stretches. Barre also focuses on high reps of small range movements.
Stretch & Strengthen Yoga
This class is aimed to strengthen and stretch your body. You'll learn to properly align your body to make sure you are using the right muscles in the poses to prevent injury or strain.
This class will begin with a warming and heart-opening yang practice allowing prana or energy to begin flowing in the body. The second half of the class will focus on yin poses held longer to stretch the connective tissues helping us to relax into the deepest layers of the body.
A unique class that combines the poses, breath work and meditation of a typical yoga class while getting the focus and intention on Jesus.
This class is designed to increase muscle strength, range of movement and improve activities for daily living. A chair is used for seated exercises and standing support and class can be modified depending on fitness levels.
A practice for those who just want to take it slower. Classes focus on releasing tension, connecting with the breath and working with the joints.
This Yoga class works from the inside out, using heat to allow the joints and the deep tissues to expand and release into greater flexibility. Sweating is one of the healthiest things we can do to improve our vascular function, regulate impurities, and burn more calories, so we will crank up the heat to 90 degrees to maximize these benefits. If you have joint pain, want to improve flexibility or are looking for a unique way to burn calories add this class to your workout plan.
Power yoga is a fast-paced style of yoga that's focused on building strength and endurance. Although it requires mindfulness and focus on your breathing, power yoga is more dynamic than meditative forms of yoga, and provides a good cardio and strength-training workout.
If you like volleyball you will love walleyball. Join our group or gather your own for fun on the court.
These classes are instructed and supervised by nationally accredited certified personal trainers. The UAC Boot Camp classes involves a variety of workouts and have class options throughout the day.
